Lehrmethodik

- Lectures - Exercizes - Numerical exercises using Matlab Students are strongly encouraged to take also the Lab Signal processing for Communications

Inhalt/e

The class deals with signal processing for communication systems. Focus is given to the physical layer and the use of signals to model and analyze the full transmission chain. Analog and digital modulation will be explained as well as key algorithms as the optimal receiver and equalization. The student will become familiar not only with communication systems but also will acquire familiarty with deterministic and stochastics signals and processing of data which has application in many different fields of information and communication technology.
