Course Information
Intended learning outcomes
Learn the basic methods of artificial intelligence with a focus on the applicability in games.
Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools
Lectures, practical examples and programming assignments.
Course content
After an AI overview the course will cover diverse gaming-relevant AI topics, like intelligent agents, multi-agents, knowledge representation, rule-based systems, search algorithms, reasoning and planning, and machine learning. The students will solve and present selected example problems.
Prior knowledge expected
Basic programming skills and knowledge about programming concepts.
