Course Information
Intended learning outcomes
While morphology deals with the internal structure of words and is devoted to the study of the smallest elements of a language that carries meaning and/or function ( = morphemes), morphosyntactics examines the relationships between morphemes and syntax. The main aim of this course ist to develop grammars and parsers which are able to deal with this morhology : syntax interaction in a purely automatic way. This machine competence includes processing of contextfree rules, which are enriched with typical grammar relevant data like agreement features.
Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools
Combination of Practical Implementation steps with theoretical elabarotation of grammar rules.
Course content
NLP-Parser development with Python.
Literature
Will be given during classes.
