Dear students,
this tutorial is provided for all students of English who are currently taking one of the following courses:
English for Academic Purposes (552.130, 552.131, 552.132), Advanced Language Productive and Receptive Skills (552.160, 552.161), Professional Writing Skills (552.170, 552.171, 552.172) and BA Thesis Writing (552.190).
If you are interested in having an individual consultation with the writing tutor from the Writing Center (Mag. Fabian Benjamin Hafner), you can register via the following doodle link: https://doodle.com/poll/9r4ak492nykcbhpb
The consultations take place in the N.1.26 (former I.1.26), which is one floor above the English department.
What can you expect from an individual consultation? The individual consultations last about half an hour and students can come at any point during the writing process. The aim is not only to improve the students' texts but also to develop their writing skills.
If you have not even started writing yet, we can discuss different ideas or try to find a logical structure for your essay. If you can already bring a text to the consultation (or if you send it in advance), you will get additional feedback, e. g. regarding structure, citation, style, or orthography. However, your texts will not be proofread.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the writing tutor via FabianBenjamin.Hafner@aau.at
