Intendierte Lernergebnisse
Learn the basic methods of artificial intelligence with a focus on the applicability in games.
Lehrmethodik inkl. Einsatz von eLearning-Tools
Lectures, practical examples and programming assignments.
Inhalt/e
After an AI overview and a brief Python primer the course will cover diverse gaming-relevant AI topics, like intelligent agents, multi-agents, knowledge representation, rule-based systems, search algorithms, reasoning and planning, and machine learning. The students will solve example problems (mainly in Python). A final project aims at building intelligent agents which will compete against each other.
Erwartete Vorkenntnisse
Basic programming skills and knowledge about programming concepts. Short Python introduction will be given at the start of the course.
