LV-Beschreibung

Intendierte Lernergebnisse

The aim of this course that will be held in the form of a comprised 3-day challenge is to connect students with a selected Carinthian exporting company in order to enhance understanding of the firm’s international business operations. Since this course is based on a real and forthe company truly relevant business problem, students will be given the opportunity to develop analytical and problem-solving skills while – at the same time – gaining valuable first-hand experience by applying theoretical knowledge to practice. Students will work independently in groups and finally present their results of analysis in the last session.

- Practical case/ business problem statement of a local Carinthian firm engaged in exporting activities.

- Comprised 3-day challenge

- High degree of practice orientation

- Company visit of a selected Carinthian company with exporting activities. The business     problem will be presented by associates of the cooperating firm

- Solution-oriented in-depth group work

- Final presentation of analysis incl. results and recommendations
