Intendierte Lernergebnisse
Course Description
In this seminar we’ll discuss why VoiceActivated Personal Assistants (VAPAs) e.g. Alexa or Siri are so successful at the moment, what are Voice First Games (VFGs), which gameplay is possible and what are the challenges to develop for this genre.
Course Objectives
The participants will:
· understand the genre of Voice FirstGames (VFG) and its relevance for digital game design
· be familiarized though the analysis of skills
· learn about the development of VAPA games
· learn about important game elements e.g. storytelling & quiz design
· create a concept, prototype for a skill
Course Structure
The course will combine lectures, game analysis, group work, student presentations and project development.
Assignments
The grades are based on active participation and the development of prototypes in groups .
