Inhalt/e
There is hype around blockchain technology right now, mostly due to cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, built on a blockchain, reaching record high prices. But which technology is behind blockchain? Which other fields face disruption? Many think that blockchain is the future of technology, commerce, education, media, governments and even democracy.
The course will discuss how disintermediation will advance. We will try to imagine Airbnb or Uber without the company or platform behind, just a network and software. Economy and governments could work without a central authority. The concept of blockchain is global and it might have a tremendous impact.
