LV-Beschreibung

Intendierte Lernergebnisse

Students will comprehend, analyze, discuss and evaluate different strategic options for cross-border media management strategies.  They wil further learn how media companies plan and implement cross-border activities taking into account the different conditions depending on the land where they are active, trying to find a balance between product standardization and local (cultural) adaptation. 

Lehrmethodik

A variety of teaching methods will be used in the course in order to facilitate achieving the above mentioned objectives, including lectures, readings, discussions, skill-building exercises, media systems analysis and elaboration of case studies.

Inhalt/e

The course will offer an insight into the strategic options for cross-border media management with regard to the economic, political, ethic and cultural conditions of the respective media markets.
