Intended learning outcomes
- Understanding psychological theories mainly used for behavioural interventions
- Critically review of theories in terms of their applications in different behaviours
- Obtaining general skills to develop a behavioural intervention
- General review of quantitative methods used for intervention evaluations

Course content
This seminar covers several widely used models including health belief model, theory of planned behaviour,and transtheoretical model. Intervention development based on the theory of planned behaviour will be discussed in detail. Students will be invited to present these well-known theories as the interactive sections for this seminar. Students will be encouraged to develop a behavioural intervention as their homework.
Literature
Students should have general understandings about models mentioned above (i.e., health belief model, theory of planned behaviour, and transtheoretical model).
