Course Information

Intended learning outcomes

Introduction of common tasks in wireless sensor networks (e.g., synchronization, communication)

Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools

Students tackle 4 assignment autonomously. Meetings to discuss the exercises and solutions of the groups. 

Course content

- wireless sensor network programming 

- develop simple applications using a single sensor node as well as a network of multiple sensors 

- Libelium Waspmotes  are used as sensor node platform (Arduino based SDK)



Prior knowledge expected

Programming skills in either C or Arduino
