Intended learning outcomes
Millions of different companies offering millions of products. Clients can buy products from all over the world. The challenge for companies to be unique is harder than ever before. Having the right communication strategy is therefore one of the most important things to be successful.
Students taking part in this course will get an overview of strategic corporate communications work. Together we will analyse and discuss the communications strategy of selected well-known companies. You will learn basic skills about important sections, like marketing communications, pr-communications, internal communications and how to create a communication strategy. In addition you will learn, how Facebook, Instagram etc. has revolutionized the work over the last years.
This course will be very practice-oriented. You will get on the one hand some scientific background and on the other hand you will learn how to use this knowledge in practice. Valentin Unterkircher has been expert in marketing and public relations communications for more than 25 years. He worked in several international companies and he made the doctor degree in communications.
