Intended learning outcomes
Acquire an overview of and experience with methods for the design measurement signalprocessing algorithms.
Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools
Examples presented in class, homework, homework presentations, paper discussions.
Course content
Various concepts presented in the lecture will be studied in practical examples.
Basic probability concepts
Random variables, functions of random variables, transformations
Random processes and properties thereof
Cramer Rao Lower Bound
Estimation concepts (MLE, BLUE etc.)
Bayesian concepts
Bayesian estimatiors
