LV-Beschreibung
Intendierte Lernergebnisse
The goal of the course is to let the students know the current state-of-the-art methodologies and techniques of Model-driven software architecture (MDA) and Model-driven Development (MDD). While in "conventional" Information Systems and Software Engineering, the code is the model of the final application, the course will explore and show how to make true that instead "the model is the code". Through a basic theoretical background and a strong set of practical activities -tool-suport included-, the students will adquire a solid knowledge to understand what a MDD-based process means, and how efficient is it really in practice.
Lehrmethodik inkl. Einsatz von eLearning-Tools
The methodology of the course is essentially practical, while design-science oriented. The problem under study will be presented, and solutions to solve it based on sound conceptual modeling practices will be studied. A tool as example will be used, and a set of exercises will be developed intended to understand in detail what model-driven development means in practice.
