Course Information
Intended learning outcomes
(1) Gaining familiarity with state-of-the-art research perspectives on culture- and literature teaching;
(2) Developing a research project in the above-mentioned areas;
(3) Writing a research proposal/ writing a chapter for an M.A.- or Ph.D.-thesis;
Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools
(1) Discussion of key issues in class;
(2) Student presentations;
Course content
(1) Transcultural perspectives for culture-and-language learning;
(2) Plurilingual perspectives for culture-, language- and literature learning;
(3) Multimodal approaches to culture-, language- and literature-teaching;
(4) Literature for young and young adult learners;
Prior knowledge expected
This is a course for advanced students of English.

(3) Students write an independently produced seminar paper in line with academic writing principles;
