Anmerkungen

Please bring a laptop computer or tablet to all class meetings and to the excursion. This course is very practice oriented and we'll do a lot of writing during class time.

LV-Beschreibung

Intendierte Lernergebnisse

In this course, students plan and conduct empirical research studies related to language learning strategies and cooperative language learning. Opportunities for data collection will be provided during class meetings and at an excursion to a COOL school in Upper Austria.

Lehrmethodik

Participants will engage in group discussions based on academic literature, observations, and presentations. Students will receive expert information about research methodology and the composition of research proposals and research reports.

Students will cooperate with each other and give peer-feedback on each other’s research projects and papers. Additional tutoring will be provided by Blake Shedd and  the Writing Centre.
