Course Information

Intended learning outcomes

Develop skills to manage a cultural project, to do qualitative research and to produce a media artifact

Develop creative skills to combine media theory, media practice, ethnography, (oral) history, popular culture and art

Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools

Course content

The aim of this practice based research course is to develop over two semester an audiovisual walk in Klagenfurt/Celovec with game elements. In winter semester we work on the on the concept of the walk and gather its material content through research in archives, interviews, videos, photos etc., start with the production for single stations, find sponsors and secure permissions. In summer semester is the main production phase of the project where we want realize this walk as an app and launch it with an event at the end of the semester.
