Course Information
Intended learning outcomes
To develop an understanding of key concepts regarding interpersonal relationships relevant to health psychology practice (e.g., doctor-patient communication, parent-child relationships, abusive relationships, intimate relationships).
Course content
This course will review several types of common interpersonal relationships and their connections with psychological and physical health. Factors which contribute to dysfunctional or healthy interaction patterns as well as the prevention and intervention options available will be discussed.

A presentation with slides and written report; homework assignments.
