Intended learning outcomes
Students are expected to get a grasp of cross-cultural issues from the world of doing business and how marketing theories and models are implemented in real-life situations.

Course content
This course aims at aquainting students with real-life management situations, i.e. case studies. Case studies are a convenient way to involve students actively in analysis and decision-making. Students will be exposed to a variety of industries, organizations, and strategic problems, will get the opportunity to apply the tools and techniques of strategic management, and will be asked to come up with pragmatic managerial action plans to deal with the issues at hand.
Case studies will be prepared in groups and will broadly cover the following subject areas:
- global marketing
- market segmentation
- marketing mix
- e-commerce
- consumer behavior
- cultural influences
