Course Information

Intended learning outcomes

This course will allow students to experience research processes from the onset until the completion of a research project. In other words, attention will be drawn to aspects such as first orientation and planning, designing a time line, developing a theoretical foundation, data gathering and analysis, plus writing and rewriting research papers. On the one hand, different research perspectives will be introduced and discussed in the course of this seminar. On the other hand, the students will work on self-chosen research projects. Content wise the focus is on issues in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching.

Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools

Interactive class focussed on the students' individual research projects.
