Die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer

  • vertiefen ihre Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten in der Recherche und im Studium wissenschaftlich-technischer Literatur
  • lernen beispielhaft, sich über ein gegebenes Thema einen Überblick zu verschaffen, es zu strukturieren und zusammenzufassen sowie Wesentliches zu extrahieren
  • lernen durch kritisches Studium der Literatur beispielhaft zwischen wissenschaftlich-technisch fundierten Arbeiten und weniger verlässlichen oder aussagekräftigen Publikationen zu unterscheiden
  • verbessern ihren Vortragsstil
  • erweitern ihre Kenntnisse in ausgewählten Bereichen des Data- & Knowledge Engineering sowie der Künstlichen Intelligenz

The participants

  • deepen their skills and proficiency in the research and study of scientific and technical literature
  • learn to get an overview of a given topic, to structure and to summarize it as well as to extract the essentials
  • learn to distinguish, by critically studying the literature, between scientifically and technically sound works and less reliable or meaningful publications
  • improve their presentation style
  • expand their knowledge in selected areas of data and knowledge engineering as well as artificial intelligence
