Course Information

Intended learning outcomes

The lecture Nachrichtentechnik (Communications engineering) deals with the most important concepts and techniques for the transmission of signals and data. It first provides the tools for signal representation and analysis. Then, it describes fundamental techniques to transmit data over a communication channel. The lecture is accompanied by a Kurs where the concepts explained in the lecture are recalled through exercizes and numerical examples in MATLAB/SIMULINK.

Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools
