Vermittlung eines praxisbezogenen Überblicks über die Funktionsweise der internationalen Finanzmärkte sowie deren bewertungs-, portfolio- und kapitalmarkttheoretischer Grundlagen.

Course content
Die Lehrveranstaltung vermittelt zunächst Basiswissen über internationale Finanz- und Kapitalmärkte. Der Fokus liegt auf der systematischen Erarbeitung der wichtigsten Finanztitel wie Anleihen, Aktien und Optionen. Die einzelnen Finanzinstrumente werden bewertungstheoretisch aufgearbeitet, sowie im Rahmen eines aktiven Portfolio- und Risikomanagements untersucht.

Assessment criteria / Standards of assessment for examinations
Es gibt drei Beurteilungskriterien:
- mindestens 80% Anwesenheit zu den Präsenzterminen
- Vorbereiten (Kreuzelliste) von mindestens 10 der 20 Übungsaufgaben in der Beispielsammlung zum Kurs; für jedes weitere vorbereitete Beispiel werden 2 Punkte auf die erreichten Klausurpunkte angerechnet (max. 20 Punkte)
- Schriftliche Klausur (Max. 80 Punkte)
Notenschlüssel:
00 - 49 Punkte: Nicht genügend
50 - 62 Punkte: Genügend
63 - 75 Punkte: Befriedigend
76 - 88 Punkte: Gut
ab 89 Punkte: Sehr gut
