Inhalt/e
A dynamical system is the mathematical abstraction of a process which changes in time. Examples are the position (and velocity) of a spacecraft, the biomass of a biological population, or temperature, pressure and wind direction (the “weather”) on our planet.
Basics: Invariant and minimal sets, limit sets, attractors
Discrete dynamical systems: Linear dynamical systems, linearization, invariance principle
Continuous dynamical systems: Lyapunov functions, planar equations (planar linear equations, Poincaré-Bendixson theory, closed orbits)
