Inhalt/e

This course is aimed at advanced students of English and American Studies - ideally those who plan to write their BA thesis this semester or are already in the process. Students planning to write a seminar paper are also welcome. Participants will be ‘guided’ through the main stages of writing a BA thesis/SE paper and work continuously on their own projects.

Lehrziel

• to increase students’ motivation and confidence in regard to writing research papers • to provide students with a space to share and discuss their own ideas as well as their writing habits • to raise students’ awareness of the importance of giving and receiving feedback • to help students avoid ‘writer’s block’ and procrastination by encouraging them to work on their projects continually
