Course content

In this course you will develop general proficiency in English in the areas of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

Topics

expanding vocabulary (lexical range) on a broad variety of general topics
dictionary use
collocations
tenses
modals and semi-modal
linking verbs, passives, questions
verb complementation
reporting
nouns (agreement and compound nouns)
articles, determiners and quantifiers

Teaching objective

The completion of this course will make you a more confident and competent user of English. It will enable you to use and understand complex grammatical structures and advanced vocabulary.
