Course Information

Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools

Lectures by native-speaker U.S. business lawyer who has lived and worked five different countries and; case studies; in-class discussions and presentations. A special feature of the course is that we may work virtually with students from OAKTON COLLEGE in Chicago this semester.

Course content

This course will examine how CORPORATE AND ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE affects the way managers make decisions and creates environments that have led to (or contributed to) the financial crisis, banking scandals like the Hypo Bank, and even the NSA spying scandal, but also to amazing successes like Facebook and Apple. We will also examine corporate social responsibility at the interface of corporate culture and geographical/societal culture.
