Inhalt/e

This course introduces the fundamental concepts of 2D and 3D computer graphics. Topics cover the representation of lights and colors; filters for image enhancement; ray tracing; the modeling of shadows and reflections; real-time rasterization; and computer graphics applications like computer games, high dynamic range (HDR) and media retargeting. The lecture will discuss the theoretical background, and the assignments will serve to enhance your understanding with practical applications, such as implementing a complete ray tracer.
