Starting a new venture overseas implies contacts with the new business environment. Therefore knowledge of the economic system, cultural environment, legal infrastructure etc. become crucially important for the new venture's success, as well as the motivation for going global and the means of doing so (i.e. born global vs going global).Topics
- Introduction to the field of IE;
- International entrepreneurship environment and global business opportunities;
- Financing and domiciling the global venture;
- Business planning and business modelling for the global venture;
- Building a global organisation;
- Creating effective global alliances;
- Global entrepreneurial leader
- Entrepreneurship ethics

To provide knowledge on the topics above; to prepare students for the sister course Cases in International Entrepreneurship.Literature
