Anmerkungen The course is being offered in two parts; the first modul will take place in Klagenfurt and the second modul in Vienna at the Interdisciplinary Faculty (IFF). Klagenfurt: 11th of March 2013 (10:30-15:00). Vienna: 6th of June - 9th of June (including Excursions in Vienna)

Inhalt/e

​The aim of this block course is to integrate the cultures of international students to their new environment in Austria, since may not only positively affect their academic accomplishments, but would also enable national students to experience different cultures and languages. Moreover, the joint study of various cultures encourages students to overcome prejudices.
The interactive workshop for international students is being designed to accompany students through the different stages of a “culture shock” and give them the opportunity to experience intercultural exchanges as well as discover their personal potential.
The workshop is being held in English. As the aim is not to speak faultless English, students will be encouraged to speak and discuss with their own foreign-language level and attempt to find out the cultural/language aspects of their own boundaries.
