Course content
“Simulation Lab for Transportation and Logistics” Course content: Introduction to Traffic Simulation, Management and control. Overview of the traffic Simulation models Overview of the traffic Management, Control and Optimization Systems/tools (Synchro7, Cube5, Vissim, Visum, Spot, Utopia, Transyt, Sidra, SCOOT, SCAT, etc.) Simulation of Traffic scenarios using „SYNCHRO-7“ Simulation of Traffic scenarios using „CUBE-5“ Traffic Control using the „CNN- paradigm“ Analysis of „Optimization problems“ in Transportation using the „CNN- paradigm“ Simulation of „Graphs & Queuing“ in Transportation Using the CNN- paradigm. Modeling and Simulation of Logistic scenarios using „VENSIM“. Modeling and Simulation of Logistic scenarios using „STELLA“. Small project on one of the themes addressed GRADING • 30%: Presence + participation in class • 20%: Small project • 50%: Final exam at the end of the semesterExamination information
