Inhalt/e

Course content:  General Introduction; Systems Theory; Principles of modeling Dynamic Systems.  Basics of MATLAB + SIMULINK  Analog Computing –1 (Basics)  Analog Computing – 2 (CNN)  Basics of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN)  Basics of Graph Theory  Queuing-1  Queuing-2 + Examples in MATLAB  Basics of the theory of traffic flow: Mathematical models for microscopic and macroscopic flows- simulation concepts.  Traffic- control based on the concept of „Nonlinear Dynamics“  Modeling of „Optimization problems“ and solutions based on the CNN- paradigm  Statistical Analysis of Stochastic Scenarios/Phenomena  Scheduling – Basics + Examples  Operations Research – Basics  Small project on one of the themes addressed GRADING • 30%: Presence + participation in class • 20%: Small project • 50%: Final exam at the end of the semester
