Course content: General Introduction; Systems Theory; Principles of modeling Dynamic Systems. Basics of MATLAB + SIMULINK Analog Computing –1 (Basics) Analog Computing – 2 (CNN) Basics of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) Basics of Graph Theory Queuing-1 Queuing-2 + Examples in MATLAB Basics of the theory of traffic flow: Mathematical models for microscopic and macroscopic flows- simulation concepts. Traffic- control based on the concept of „Nonlinear Dynamics“ Modeling of „Optimization problems“ and solutions based on the CNN- paradigm Statistical Analysis of Stochastic Scenarios/Phenomena Scheduling – Basics + Examples Operations Research – Basics Small project on one of the themes addressed GRADING • 30%: Presence + participation in class • 20%: Small project • 50%: Final exam at the end of the semesterPrüfungsinformationen
