Presentations and Discussions

Course content

The seminar has three goals: On the first day, each Ph.D. and Master student will present the status of his or her work. Each presentation will last 1 hour. Please prepare your presentation in English in advance. After each presentation, the other students are encouraged to reflect the content of the presentation critically and to provide helpful suggestions which might be beneficial for the work for the colleague. On the second day of the seminar, we will turn forward and discuss selected scientific journal articles. The purpose for Ph.D. students during this stage is to become more familiar with scientific material and scientific writing. Finally, on the third day we will identify motivational blockers during a dissertation process and find ways to eliminate those barriers. I am looking forward to have great discussions with you.
