Intendierte Lernergebnisse
Students will develop a thorough understanding of key concepts in international trade and international monetary economics. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be equipped to assess and interpret relevant policy developments, including those involving economic (dis)integration and protectionism.
Lehrmethodik
Lecture along the textbook by Krugman/Obstfeld/Melitz.
Additional topical material from the Financial Times and The Economist will be provided to highlight the practical relevance of the subject.
Inhalt/e
Theory and policy of real and monetary international economics.
Erwartete Vorkenntnisse
Basic understanding of key concepts of economics.

There will be four dates on which the exam can be taken. It consists of 15x4 = 60 statements which have to be assessed as either true or false. For passing a score of at least 42 is required.
