Inhalt/e
In the weekly Doctoral Seminar students present PhD students first of all provide an outline of their research project, give milestone presentations, and present the obtained results. In between there are also talks and lectures by guests. Also the thesis defenses take place in the framework of this Doctoral seminar.
Each presentation should be prepared and delivered, or likewise attended with these recommendations in mind.
The student sends the following information to Mirjam Jonk / Senka Haznadar / Michel Spira, asking her/him to send out the invitation three weeks ahead: title of talk, date, time, duration, room, abstract, supervisor and the fact that it is a presentation in the doctoral seminar. Examples of invitations: https://www.math.aau.at/talks/76/pdf, https://www.math.aau.at/talks/78/pdf
