Course Information

Intended learning outcomes

The aim of this proseminar is to highlight some of the key interrelationships and processes that occur in the interphase between the soil, water and biosphere as part of the broad scope of physical geography.

By the end of this pro-seminar, students will be able to discuss international and national press and scientific literature on specific processes related to the above topic and present them to a variety of audiences (from students to peers).

Teaching methodology

The learning method is based on reading literature, searching scientific literature and press reports, active participation in class discussions and role play presentations of case studies to demonstrate the ability to discuss problems related to physical geography (soil science and biogeography). This is complemented by continuous guidance in class by the lecturer.
