Inhalt/e
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the basics of Business English in both written and spoken form. Students will practise and expand skills in English which they will need when they enter the world of business. In general, students will improve their communication skills in order to become more fluent and confident when using the English language. This includes specific words and expressions so as to be able to deal with presentations, telephoning, negotiations and meetings. Furthermore, they will learn how to compose letters, faxes, e-mails, job applications and CVs. Methods like role-plays, pair work, group work, and writing tasks as well as reading tasks based on texts from current business magazines will cover different business situations.
