Intendierte Lernergebnisse

The course makes students acquainted with key concepts and related theories of digital government. After visiting the course, students

  •  can explain and discuss the main theoretical aspects of digital government.
  • are informed about the opportunities digital government brings and can decide in what areas it can lead to more efficiency and better services for citizens.
  • can apply evidence-based theories and analytical models to identify, analyse and solve problems that may occur, i.e. during implementation in the practical field.
  • securely use relevant terminology and can search literature databases independently, thus staying on top of further scientific developments in the area.

The assessments for this course take place in the form of:

  • 6 interactive quizzes / moodle tasks (60 credits =  60% of final grade)
  • active participation and presentations during class (40 credits = 40% of final grade)

In order to pass this class, students have to

  • actively attend at least 80% of the teaching hours
  • complete all moodle tasks / quizzes.
  • achieve a total minimum score of 50 out of 100 credits (moodle tasks / quizzes, participation and presentations combined)
