Intendierte Lernergebnisse

The aim of this course, which is a continuation of INTRO TO LITEARARY STUDIES I, is to expand the knowledge in the analysis and interpretation of literary texts (e.g. short story, novel, play etc).

For an acceptance it is mandatory to have passed the course INTRO TO LITERARY STUDIES I !

It is mandatory to attend the first lecture on March 8th. Non-present students won't be accepted to this course. Due to the fact that this seminar is a blocked course (5 times) only one absence is allowed.

Inhalt/e

Will be presented in detail in the first lecture. Generally, this course employs the following parts of literature: novels (and short stories) / plays / poetry / film.

Erwartete Vorkenntnisse

Introduction to Literary Studies I has to be passed with a positive grading.

Literatur

Students will have to read 2 short stories, 1 play and 1 novel. (It sounds a lot, but it is absolutely managable).

Futher details in will be revealed in the 1st lecture.
