Intendierte Lernergebnisse

The aim of the course is to develop your general proficiency in English through improving your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. Course work will focus on essential grammar (relative clauses and other types, pronouns, adjectives and adverbs, adverbial clauses and conjunctions, prepositions) and on expanding your lexical range on a broad variety of general and advanced topics.

Prüfungsinformationen

Im Fall von online durchgeführten Prüfungen sind die Standards zu beachten, die die technischen Geräte der Studierenden erfüllen müssen, um an diesen Prüfungen teilnehmen zu können.

- series progress tests (grammar and vocabulary)

- complete portfolio submitted by deadline (end of term)

Prüfungsinhalt/e

There will be progress tests on grammar and vocabulary units as well as participation in classroom activities (requirements will be further specified in a course outline provided in the first class meeting).

Beurteilungskriterien/-maßstäbe

Participants will be required to perform at the required level of language proficiency (min. C1) and develop their skills from there.

- in case of suspicion: follow-up talk to check plausibility of results in terms of AI-usage
