Inhalt/e
Taking a biopsychosocial perspective, this course aims to provide students with an overview of addictive human behaviours, i.e. process addictions (gambling, internet, work) in general, and substance addictions (e.g. drugs and alcohol) in particular. Such a perspective takes into consideration the biological (e.g., genetics), psychological (such as thoughts and emotions) and social (socio-economic, socio-environmental and cultural) factors involved in the development of addiction.
