Anmerkungen
The majority of the course will be in-person but the possibility to attend hybrid via BigBlueButton will be provided. Additionally, due to schedule of the lecturer, some lectures may be held on-line or materials may be provided for Blended Learning activities. All dates and mode of instruction will be given during the first lecture of class and posted in the course Moodle page.

Intendierte Lernergebnisse
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- actively and accurately use the business-specific vocabulary and phrases that have been studied in class and at home
- deepened their understanding of, and ability to produce, a range of grammatical structures.
- follow and contribute extensively to a meeting on a pre-assigned topic
- negotiate effectively, using a range of phrases studied both in class and at home.
Lehrmethodik
Group work, communicative activities, self-study, regular vocabulary assessments, speaking and writing assessments.
Inhalt/e
Skills that will be developed throughout this course are:
- ability to participate confidently and effectively in a meeting
- ability to negotiate
- writing skills (awareness of informal/formal differences)
- reading skills (case studies, news articles)
- grammar (inclu. tense and aspect, prepositions and relative clauses)
- subject-specific vocabulary (with a focus on phrasal verbs and idiomatic expressions)
Topics that will be covered throughout this course include:
- leadership
- discrimination
- intercultural communication
- marketing
