Course Information
Intended learning outcomes
Students will gain skills, practical experience, and confidence in the areas of reading, writing, speaking, and listening, We will also work on targeted vocabulary and grammar areas.
Teaching methodology
English is the only language that will be used in this course. I expect and hope that all students will be active learners in this class.
We will use articles, games, in-class activities, individual and group work through the semester. There will be weekly home assignments.
Course content
Vocabulary and grammar topics based on student needs. Students will give short individual presentations, formal and informal, throughout the semester. We will use a writing workshop system to produce a short essay. There will be a final written exam.
Prior knowledge expected
This course is aimed at students with a B2 language level. (CEFR)
