Im fachbezogenen Dissertantenseminar präsentieren und diskutieren Dissertant/inn/en den aktuellen Stand ihrer Arbeit.

In the subject-related dissertation seminar, dissertation candidates present and discuss the current status of their research.

Course content

Es werden unterschiedliche theoretische Perspektiven auf Dissertationsthemen aufgezeigt und Lösungsmöglichkeiten für offene Fragen diskutiert.

Die Präsentation des aktuellen Standes der Dissertation kann folgende Punkte umfassen:

  • Beschreibung der Problemstellung
  • Herausarbeiten von Forschungslücken
  • Formulierung konkreter Forschungsfragen
  • Theoretische Bezugsrahmen zur Bearbeitung der Forschungsfragen
  •  Erhebungsmethoden
  • Statistische Auswertungsmethoden
  • Diskussion der Ergebnisse

  • Different theoretical perspectives on dissertation topics are presented, and possible ways of solving open questions are discussed.

    The presentation of the current state of the dissertation may include the following:

        Description of the problem
        Identification of research gaps
        Formulation of specific research questions
        The theoretical frame of reference for handling the research questions
         Data collection methods
        Statistical evaluation methods
        Discussion of the results
