Intendierte Lernergebnisse
Nach Absolvierung der Lehrveranstaltung verfügen die Studierenden über mathematische Grundkenntnisse, die zur Beschreibung ökonomischer Sachverhalte notwendig sind. Sie beherrschen wesentliche Elemente der mathematischen Sprache auf verschiedenen Kommunikationsebenen.

Mathematikkentnisse auf Maturaniveau. Der Besuch des Lehrveranstaltung "Brückenkurs Mathematik" wird empfohlen.

After completing this course, students should have the basic mathematical knowledge that is required to describe and interpret models used in business-related careers. They will master essential elements of mathematical language and how to communicate mathematics on different levels.

Prüfungsinformationen
Prüfungsmethode/n
Schriftliche Prüfung am Campus in der sicheren Prüfungsumgebung (SPU).
Als Hilfsmittel sind erlaubt:
- eine Formelsammlung, die im Moodlekurs zur Verfügung gestellt wird sowie
- ein Taschenrechner mit höchstens einer Ausgabezeile oder der Windows-Taschenrechner.
Prüfungsinhalt/e
Die Prüfung basiert auf dem Inhalt der Vorlesung. Sie besteht aus Fragen zu Definitionen und Resultaten, sowie aus dem Lösen praktischer Probleme. Es wird Multiple-Choice-Fragen geben, Fragen, bei denen die Studierenden ihre Ergebnisse eingeben müssen, sowie Fragen, bei denen die Studierenden ihre vollständige Antwort als Freitext in Moodle eingeben müssen.
Beurteilungskriterien/-maßstäbe
Noten und Resultate:
- Note 5: weniger als 50% (nicht bestanden).
- Note 4: zwischen 50% und 62.5%.
- Note 3: zwischen 62.5% und 75%.
- Note 2: zwischen 75% und 87.5%.
- Note 1: über 87.5%
Prüfungsmethode/n
The exam will be held in-person as a written exam in the secure exam environment (SPU).
Students can use:
- a collection of formulas provided in the Moodle course and
- a calculator with no more than one output line or the Windows calculator.
Prüfungsinhalt/e
The exam will be based on the contents of the lectures of the course. It will consist of questions asking for definitions, for results as well as practical problems. There will be multiple choice questions, questions where students are expected to enter their results as well as questions where students are expected to write their full answer into Moodle.
Beurteilungskriterien/-maßstäbe
Marks and results:
- Grade 5: Less than 50% (fail).
- Grade 4: Between 50% and 62.5%.
- Grade 3: Between 62.5% and 75%.
- Grade 2: Between 75% and 87.5%.
- Grade 1: Above 87.5% (pass with distinction).
