Intendierte Lernergebnisse
Students acquire an in-depth knowledge about
- current hot topics information systems engineering, this year inter-organizational processes and their modeling and execution on blockchains.
- selected basic techniques of distributed databases in particular replication, distributed transactions, p2p databases necessary to understand current developments in blockchain technology and distributed ledgers
Lehrmethodik
Classical lecture, practical assignments, student presentations.

The course will provide the essential fundamentals and cover current topics of the following areas:
- Interorganizational Business Processes
- Blockchain Technology for Collaborative Information Systems
- Modeling Methods for business Processes targeting Blockchains.
- Oracle Patterns
- BPM support for knowledge workers: Declarative Process Modeling & Case Handling
- Distributed Transaction Processing
