Intended learning outcomes

Students gain a basic knowlege of the legal provisions in the following areas:

  • copyright law
  • trademark law
  • trade secret law
  • IT contract law
  • data protection law
  • provider law
  • media law

and are able to address the relevant points when confronted with simple cases in these fields.

Teaching methodology

  • Lecture with introductions to these fields of law
  • case discussion and case solving

2.) Case presentation: Every participant has to analyze and present a case given by the lecturer.
