Intended learning outcomes

Students acquire understanding of theory and policy of international trade and monetary economics.


Teaching methodology including the use of eLearning tools

Discussion of relevant newspaper articles from the Economist and the Financial Times.

What is international economics about?

International trade theory

Monetary theory in an open economy

Institutional aspects of international trade and monetary policy

Prior knowledge expected

 Key principles and concepts of economics.
