Intendierte Lernergebnisse
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- actively and accurately use the business-specific vocabulary and phrases that have been studied in class and at home
- deepened their understanding of, and ability to produce, a range of grammatical structures.
- follow and contribute extensively to a meeting on a pre-assigned topic
- negotiate effectively, using a range of phrases studied both in class and at home.

Group work, extensive self-study, vocabulary assessments, speaking and writing tasks and assessments.
Inhalt/e
Skills that will be developed throughout this course are:
- ability to participate confidently and effectively in a meeting
- ability to negotiate
- writing skills (awareness of formal/informal differences)
- reading skills (case studies, news articles)
- grammar (including tense and aspect, prepositions and relative clauses)
- subject-specific vocabulary (with a focus on phrasal verbs and idiomatic expressions)
Students must have access to a working microphone and camera in order to participate in this course.
